From the beginning the grandkids have always had a room at our house. The style has changed a little, depending on the house, and their age. My grandsons room in our old house was huge, it even had a setting room. When we move we downsized, so getting rid of stuff and rearranging was a little overwhelming. I ended up throwing something together that looked nothing like I wanted. It was a catch all for stuff.
The last time he was over I told him I was ready to make some changes. It was time to let go of the little boys stuff and make it a young man’s room. So two days ago I got started. Went to Home Depot for paint, stopped by Hobby Lobby for a couple of decorations, and a new rug. Then I went by Home Goods and Target for bedding, and curtains.
When I got home the work began. Dave was out of town for a couple days so my goal was to finish before he returned home. It was a lot of work but I did it, and I am beyond excited about the results.
In the end I added a few things I had laying around the house. Some antique fishing stuff, an old mirror, two medals ( one was my dads, one was my moms), a couple of antique toys, an old bear, a truck, and a mitt and catchers mask. It ready fits his personality, and is much more suited for a young man ❤️ #grandkids #countryliving #grandmashouse #Idaho
