Thanksgiving is near, and with it I will be another year older. I have lived a few years and love the fact that with each new year there becomes a new discovery. The great part is that as we grow older, we see them more clearly. This year I discovered how blessed I am to have faith in Jesus Christ, how important health is, and how easy we can all be manipulated.
At Bible Study Fellowship we are studying Genesis, the first book of the bible. From the beginning we are told about the outcome of sin, hate, and darkness, and throughout the study families and friends are torn apart from indifferences. It provides us a glance into the past which shows us how nations can be destroyed, and war can become common place. Today we are seeing this before our eyes, with differences in politics, religion, education, and economic standing.
We all have a path in life that we choose to take, some are marked with darkness and some with light. I pray that the discoveries we make on these paths will help to enrich your lives, and that we will always be able to choose light over darkness.
